金۰Jessica Foong, a graduate of Nanyang Academy of Arts, Singapore, is the principal performer, creative director and team leader at BSY Cultural Arts. If you have the opportunity to converse with her on any topic related to dance and music, you cannot help but be infected by Jessica’s passion and vitality! Her involvement in this field started with her taking lessons on Chinese folk dance at the age of 8, and then continued with the learning of various dance genres, such as jazz, ballet, and modern dances. She has also enrolled in numerous trainings, participated in many local and international performances as well as engaged in dance and play choreography.
Jessica’s artistic career, however, did not taken off as smoothly as one might have imagined. Initially, her parents were firmly against her dance pursuits as a career choice, causing her to become rebellious and she began playing truant at school, with no due respect accorded anyone. This had very adverse impacts on her younger siblings, naturally causing great pains to her parents. Consequently, her relationship with her parents became heavily strained.
Her subsequent encounter with Bai Shi Yin Guang Bo would prove to be a turning point in her life.
金۰Jessica Foong literally grew up under the umbrella of Bai Shi Yin Organisation, Light-transmuting her bodily Sheng Ming Fu Xin Xi Zuo Luan (upheaval-disturbance of negative entities) and Sheng Ming Fu Qi Chang Gan Rao (overwhelming interference of negative energy fields). Bai Shi Yin Guang Bo went to the extent of providing her with a golden avenue in the form of BSY Cultural Arts – a platform to greatly unleash her passion – for pursuing her dream of dance and music. She also extended a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jessica to study under Master Xiong Jiwen, a Director of the Closing Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the Founder of Xiamen Dawu Wenfeng Dance Institute. Jessica also furthered her studies in the renowned Beijing Dance Academy of China. Most significantly, Bai Shi Yin Guang Bo gave Jessica a positive environment for personal growth. At the same time, she was instrumental in incessantly rectifying Jessica’s shortcomings; inculcating the values of humility and filial piety in her; and reconciling her with the parents. Now, inspired by the transformation of Jessica, her younger brother and sister have also changed, taking the initiative of participating in and assisting with the stage and backstage artistic works.
